AURTENETXE BEKOA BASERRIAREN BERRITZEA. Baserriaren jatorria XVIII. mendearen erdialdean kokatu daiteke. Baserria erabat hondatuta zegoen esku-hartzearen momentuan, denbora luzean zehar erabilera gabe egon izanagatik. Hau dela eta, lehenik eta behin eraikina kontsolidatuko da, bere manteinu eta osasungarritasuna ziurtatzeko. Ondoren, bigarren fase batean, barnealdea egokituko da aldi baterako etxebizitza erabilerarako. Espazio bakar eta banaketarik gabeko bat izango da emaitza, non jatorrizko egiturak protagonismoa hartuko duen eta zurezko kutxa bat kokatuko den. Kutxa honen barruan kokatuko dira etxebizitzarako beharrezkoak diren espazioak. Horrela, berotu beharreko bolumena murrizten da eta baserriaren aldi bateko erabilera bideragarria izango da. Modulu honek dimentsio txikiak izango ditu eta jatorrizko zurezko egituratik exentu eraikiko da, beti ere bolumen guztia atzeman daitekeelarik.

AURTENETXE BEKOA COUNTRY HOUSE REFURBISHMENT. The caserío (typical Basque farmhouse) was built around the 18th century. The building was dilipidated before the intervention, due to the lack of use of the last decades. In a first phase, the building was consolidated in order to ensure its firmness and healthiness. Subsequently, in a second stage, a weekend dwelling was built inside the caserío. The original structure gains now a new significance because of the new open space and the lack of partition walls. A box-shaped piece of furniture was built in order to host the different rooms. Thus, the volume-to-heat becomes noticeably smaller and clearly delimited, something really important due to its occasional use. This volume was built without any connection to the original timber structure, providing an image of an isolated box inside the house.
