Centro Sociocultural en Reinosa

El vacío que se genera tras la destrucción del mercado de abastos se entiende como una plaza en la que desarrollar actividades. La idea principal consiste en cubrir esta gran plaza. El programa del nuevo centro sociocultural se plantea a cota de calle, resultando accesible, económico y propiciando la participación. Los muros estructurales coincidentes con la antigua trama del mercado facilitan el proceso constructivo. La cubierta se descompone para adaptarse a la escala de la ciudad y organiza la estructura interior del edificio. Su identidad se manifiesta en forma de cubiertas a dos aguas, adaptadas al clima y evocando la arquitectura vernácula. Emergen unos lucernarios que diversifican los espacios interiores, favoreciendo la orientación de los usuarios, y en el exterior son un reclamo que señala los accesos al edificio.

GIZARTE ETA KULTURA ZENTROA REINOSAN. Antzinako hornidura-azoka sute baten ondoren desagertu eta gero sortzen den hutsunea, aktibitate ezberdinak jasotzeko plaza berri bezala ulertzen da. Oinarrizko ideia plaza handi hau estaltzean datza. Gizarte-kultura zentro berriak izango duen programa kaleko kota berdinean kokatzen da, horrela, irisgarritasuna hobetu eta herritarren parte-hartzea errazten da. Aspaldiko horma-harrien egitura ontzat emanez, prozesu-konstruktibo berria bizkortzen da. Aldi berean estalkia zati desberdinetan aurkezten zaigu, herriaren eskalara egokitzeko eta eraikinaren barnealdea antolatzeko. Bertako klimara egokitzen den estalki berri honek, herri-arkitektura tradizionala gogora ekartzen du. Lau hegietan barnealdea dibertsifikatu eta erabiltzaileen orientazioa errazten duten lau argizulo kokatzen dira.

CULTURAL CENTRE IN REINOSA. The new empty space that is generated after the old market was burnt and demolished, turns into a square where several activities are supposed to be carried out. The aim of the project is to cover this big square. The new sociocultural building programme is developed on ground floor in order to be accessible, inexpensive and to encourage citizens’ participation. The load-bearing walls, which are at the same position that in the past, make the construction process easier. The roof, shaped in gable roof, tries to adapt to the city scale and organizes the inner structure of the building. Besides, its design adapts perfectly to the climate and the characteristics of the architecture of the region where it is placed. Several skylights emerge from this cover with two clear aims: the first one, that the inside spaces can be clearly distinguished and users can be guided wherever they want to go; and last but not least, these skylight elements mark the entrances of the building from the outside.
