Vivienda San Martín

Se interviene sobre una vivienda con estructura de madera, que apenas ha sufrido modificaciones en su distribución desde su construcción en 1909. La intervención trata de poner en valor sus cualidades espaciales, así como los elementos preexistentes. Realizando pequeñas variaciones sobre el trazado de la distribución original, se consigue abrir los espacios, conectándolos entre sí y dotando a la vivienda de una gran amplitud y calidad espacial. El acceso se realiza directamente sobre el ancho pasillo distribuidor, que al abrirse y ensancharse en sus extremos permite un uso polivalente del mismo y se percibe como un elemento de menor longitud. Los cuartos húmedos se redistribuyen en torno al patio interior de luces. El resto de la vivienda son una serie de amplias estancias interconectadas, que enriquecen las circulaciones y las conexiones visuales cruzadas.

The wet rooms are redistributed around the inner courtyard. The rest of the house is a series of large interconnected rooms, which enrich the circulations and cross visual connections.
