Vivienda Urquijo

El proyecto se centra en conseguir una nueva forma de habitar la vivienda sin apenas alterar su esquema original. A base de pequeñas modificaciones puntuales, los espacios se reorganizan según las nuevas necesidades, sin llegar a borrar los límites originales de las estancias. De esta forma, cobran protagonismo los elementos preexistentes, tales como la tarima de madera, que recupera sus dibujos originales, permitiendo una lectura entre el antiguo y nuevo trazado de distribución. En la parte más pública de la vivienda, las distintas estancias (acceso, cocina y salón-comedor), forman parte de una misma secuencia de espacios, sin divisiones fijas, que ocupa todo el ancho de la casa. Las superficies de fachada se recubren con cortinas en toda su longitud, difuminando la entrada de luz natural y desdibujando las proporciones de huecos de ventana existentes.

ETXEBIZITZA BERRITZEA BILBON. Etxebizitzaren jatorrizko eskema ia aldatu gabe, espazioa bizitzeko modu berri bat lortzea da proiektuaren erronka nagusia. Eskuhartze puntualen bidez espazioak behar berriei egokitzeko berrantolatzen dira baina gelen jatorrizko limiteak desagerraraztera iritsi gabe. Horrela, elementu aurrexistenteek protagonismoa hartzen dute: zurezko tarimari, adibidez, bere jatorrizko marrazkia berreskuratu zaio, aurreko distribuzioa eta berriaren identifikazioa ahalbidetuz. Etxebizitzaren alde publikoenean estantzia desberdinek (sarrera, sukaldea eta jangela-egongela) etxebizitzaren zabalera guztia hartzen dute; zatiketa mugiezinik ez dute, eta beraz espazioen sekuentzia berdinaren parte dira. Fatxadako azalak gortinekin gaineztu direnez, argi naturalaren sarrera lausotzen da eta leihoen hutsuneen mugak ikusgaitz bihurtzen dira.

APARTMENT REFURBISHMENT IN BILBAO. The project focuses on achieving a new way of living the apartment avoiding to make big modifications to its original arrangement. By means of puntual changes the spaces are reorganized according to new requirements. The limits of the former living spaces are not completely erased, though. Thus, the preexistent elements will be clear protagonists in the new scenery: the wooden flooring, for instance, will regain its original drawing, so that the identification of the former and new layout are allowed. In terms of arrangement, in the most public part of the apartment, the different living spaces of the house (hall, kitchen and dining-livin spaces) do not have any fixed division and make part of the same spatial sequence. All the área of the façade is covered with curtains that create a diffuse natural light and blur the proportions of the original windows’ frames.
